There are several of The Cherry Valley Hobo books available. Anyone who is familiar with the Avalanche Disaster of 1910 will enjoy this story. Two young boys find themselves inside a box car of a Great Northern train, quickly realizing that they are not alone. They learn of a mystery that lures them to the site of the worst natural disaster in railroad history. Their new friend takes them to the town of Wellington, WA, at the foot of Stevens Pass, where beneath the rubble lies something of great value. Clues lead to dangerous caverns and evil outlaws. Injuries and fear send them into hiding. The lads learn of the lost culture of hobos riding the rails in search of a better life, and a strong bond is formed between the ragged hobos and the two young boys.

I’ve been working on The Cherry Valley Hobos Book 2. Hoping it will be out sometime in 2021.

To order a book 1 for Christmas, there is lots of time, but shopping will get heavy in a few days. Interested? Stay on this site, but go to Published Works. The book can be ordered there using PayPal.

The characters in the sketches play a major part in the story. I thought that you would like to have a glimpse of how the characters looked. After all it’s 1911 when we travel there with Zak and Mason.
