Falcon Lake, Sunny and Warm…Again

August 14, 2019 No Comments

Good morning

Another nice warm day in Zapata. George and I just returned from town. A couple more books to mail. Thank you, all of you for showing interest in my Hobos. I’ve started on The Cherry Valley Hobos Book 2. I hope Zak and Mason’s adventures are as scary, exciting, dangerous, and fun as Book 1 was.

August is a hot month. Temperatures up in to the 100s again. 106 is predicted for today. This afternoon, we are driving to Rio Grande City to Walmart for supplies and a couple of prescription refills. It’s a pretty drive, about an hour south of Zapata. We have enjoyed watching new wind turbines rising to the sky. The workers are finished and have moved on. When I look South from our patio, I can see seven turbines all in a row rotating and making electricity.

I’ll add a picture to this posting. Hope you enjoy.
